Do you want to work in a central role with responsibility for mission-critical traffic management systems that are used around the clock? We are now looking for a Product Manager for Traffic Management Systems who wants to take overall responsibility for requirements management, maintenance, and further development of systems that are crucial for operational activities.

The role suits you who thrive in the intersection of business, technology, and suppliers and who want to combine leadership with a clear product and system responsibility.

About the role

As the Product Manager for Traffic Management Systems, you have overall responsibility for the organization's traffic management systems and associated production-critical support systems. The core system is an external standard system, but several surrounding systems are developed and integrated by internal development teams. Your role is to act as a requirements manager, purchaser, and recipient of deliveries.

You lead an internal team of about five requirements managers and system specialists and are responsible for ensuring that requirements, priorities, and follow-ups are conducted in a structured, quality-assured manner and in line with the needs of the business. The role reports to the IT manager and is part of the IT and digital development department.

Your mission

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and having personnel responsibility for a team of internal requirements managers and system specialists
  • Collecting, analyzing, and translating the business needs into clear requirements for the traffic management system
  • Being the main requirements manager during procurement and further development of production-critical systems
  • Planning, prioritizing, and following up assignments and projects together with external suppliers
  • Ensuring stable operation, availability, and long-term management of the systems
  • Following up deliveries, contracts, licenses, and system upgrades
  • Ensuring good collaboration between business, IT, operations, and external consultants
  • Driving work related to quality, information security, and regulatory compliance
  • Reporting status, risks, and progress to management and relevant stakeholders
  • You are also the process owner for the management process and actively contribute to developing working methods and forms of collaboration.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in IT, engineering, computer science, project management, or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in requirements management and/or system administration in complex IT environments
  • Experience working with external system suppliers and consulting firms
  • Experience leading teams, preferably with formal personnel responsibility
  • Experience in project management or coordination of system development
  • Good ability to communicate and document requirements in Swedish and English
  • Experience with agile working methods and working with mission-critical systems with high availability requirements is an advantage.

Personal qualities

The role requires a confident, structured, and communicative leader with a good overall understanding of how business, technology, and suppliers interact. You are analytical, pedagogical, and have an easy time building trust in the dialogue between business and technology.

You work carefully and methodically, have a strong sense of quality and regulatory compliance, and enjoy taking responsibility for long-term stability and continuous improvement.

The organization applies an office-first policy, with the possibility of remote work one day a week by agreement.

Don't hesitate to apply if you find our offer interesting and feel that you fit well into the competency profile above.

All applications are handled strictly confidentially.
